Absolutely! These sessions are open to everyone and they are complimentary to everyone.

No kitten around, your cat may need help to register. For a paw-some experience they should also have a good understanding of / experience with the concepts the exam tests. Herd them over to and drill down into the certification they are aiming for - in the About the Exam section there will be a Get The Exam Guide link. Purr-fect!

Oh no ! We try and run as many as we can based on instructor availability - if yours isn't here let us know and we will try to schedule it next session if that's possible.

Trailblazers who Inspire Us - Alisa Edwards, Auckland Women in Tech

Alisa Edwards is the second of our Inspiring Trailblazer speakers in an occasional series. I have been trying to get her to Wellington to speak to our Salesforce Wellington community for a long time - but as Alisa chooses to abide by a minimal carbon footprint she has always gently declined me! Virtual times bring greater opportunities for speakers, so I am delighted to be able to introduce the amazing Alisa to everyone.

Alisa will be beaming into our homes from Auckland and will share her Salesforce journey, career advice, and tips on how to quickly attain certs/badges. Her presentation will be followed by Q&A.

Alisa is a Chilean-American (and almost Kiwi) who is passionate about the environment, diversity & inclusion, and tech for good. She is active in Auckland’s Salesforce community where she runs the growing and very active Women in Tech group (with monthly meetings), works as a Salesforce consultant at GravityLab, teaches the Admin course at Tech Futures Lab, and has collected 600+ Trailhead badges as well as nine Salesforce certifications.

Alisa loves hearing from inspiring people, learning new languages, exploring vegan restaurants, hiking NZ Great Walks, attending hackathons, minimising waste, and finding ways to do things thoughtfully and a bit unconventionally. She encourages all women and allies to join her WiT Auckland group, watch out for her amazing monthly meetings (currently virtual)!

These lunchtime meetings will aim for 60 minutes, but it is flexible. I ask for your patience! The meeting info will be sent out to those that register on the morning of the meeting. You may need to check your spam folder for the email, the Zoom link will be sent out in the morning prior to the midday call.

Please keep your RSVP accurate as that really helps with the planning.

I am working with scheduling other speakers as well for future meetings, if there is someone or specific content that you would be interested in, then please reach out to me. We may also schedule virtual meetings with no formal content planned, if this is something you would also be interested in, let me know!

Thanks for your continuing support, and I look forward to connecting virtually. Please feel free to contact me for any reason, I am happy to continue to support our local SF Welly Ohana, to chat, have virtual coffee, provide advice on Salesforce, careers, Trailhead, certifications, introductions, all the usual! Just virtually for now :)

Kia ora everyone, detailed below is the latest #SFWelly virtual meeting announcement, we would love you all to join! Thanks so much for your ongoing loyalty.

Our weekly virtual meetings, Wednesdays at 12 noon (*NZ Time*) have been attracting a growing number of attendees, both from around New Zealand, but also worldwide as well. So please be sure to save the registration into your calendar so you have the correct time and date recorded (you know who you are who keep forgetting that NZ is 2 hours ahead of Sydney!!).

It has been so wonderful to leverage international connections to bring the best of the Salesforce world to us in little old Wellington :-)

We will be continuing with virtual meetings for some time to come, the crowds we have been experiencing at in-person meetings are too large in these current times! And even when we are able to run in-person events, at least one virtual meeting a month will be scheduled, as it is evident that virtual meetings are accessible to those who cannot make meetings in person, as well as enabling us to continue to welcome offshore presenters.

Please note that all virtual meetings are hosted on Zoom. The meeting Zoom link will be emailed to those who are registered, 30 minutes prior to the meeting start. Please check spam for the email, or feel free to contact me if you need the link: This meeting listing will not contain a link to the virtual meeting.

A few quick updates from recent meetings: James Batup's LinkedIn slides are now available on that meeting link, Tomasz's slides are available on his meeting link, and this week's meeting, with the amazing Jessica Macpherson OAM from St Kilda Mums has been updated with info as well, and the visual storyteller's amazing graphic is now available as well.

Also an update on the Trailhead Virtual Admin Bootcamp offer I have previously mentioned... there has been a huge uptake on this ($199 USD including cert voucher instead of $900 USD), so much so, that an extra class *in ANZ-friendly hours* has been added, AND IS NOW FULLY SUBSCRIBED. Furthermore I have been assured that your email to apactraining as per the instructions, does get received despite the reply to your inbox! Feel free to let me know which class you have registered for, as we have a fair few locals registered, and I will intro you to each other if you wish! Here is the link which includes discount code info: (Update 4th May - that extra ANZ friendly class is now FULL - but I am speaking to the Trailhead team to see if another can be offered!)

Further update from Anna: check out the weekly ask a non profit expert anything, hosted by Salesforce in ANZ friendly times (3pm Wednesdays NZT / 1pm Sydney):
