For our May group gathering, we have some great new topics lined up.
We will give a group update before we have a presentation about some of the new features that have been added to Apex (we haven't done this in a while...). Following the presentation, we have invited CRM Managers, Consulting Partners and Salesforce Employees to answer questions and provide insights into what they expect nowadays from us - Salesforce Developers. Is there a full-stack Salesforce Developer or do we separate between front- and backend?
We will close the afternoon with an open mic session and networking drinks. We are looking forward to seeing you all there.
Senior Manager Digital Transformation
Salesforce MVP, Sr. Salesforce Developer
Experienced Digital Transformation Manager with a demonstrated history of working in the financial services industry. Skilled in Salesforce.com Consulting, Salesforce.com Development, Business Process Improvement and Relationship Building. Strategically focused professional with a Bachelor of Business (International Business) and Bachelor of Arts (Languages) focused in Japanese from Queensland University of Technology.
I started my career wandering the hallways of the Faculty of Business at QUT with a pack of floppy disks and now I work in the Cloud helping companies adopt the Salesforce platform. I co-host the Code Coverage Podcast for Salesforce developers.
Over the years I've worked as a Project Manager, Web Application Developer, Technical Lead, Development Manager, CTO, Architect, Consultant, Business Analyst and occasional Tester. I've worked for 24 hours for product launches and production outages (I learned lessons on both occasions), I've been the demo guy behind the curtain at Ministerial presentations, I've presented at multiple conferences and I've taped the carpet under my desk and fixed the Wifi. I've architected entire systems and solved critical production issues with code fixes.
I enjoy two things the most, helping people and solving problems, if I could sum up myself in a phrase it would be in this quote dubiously attributed to Hannibal (the Punic Carthaginian commander), even if he didn't say it, I still like it: Aut inveniam viam aut faciam - I shall either find a way or make one.
