The platform bus is one of the recent functional and scale capability EXPLOSIONS within the Salesforce Platform. Big Objects, Salesforce Functions and the Event Bus are giant leaps in large scale data handling and processing that are now built into the platform. From a classical architecture perspective the corollaries are Lambdas and Headless computing, NoSQL and Pub/Sub streaming like Kafka.
