Salesforce Developer Group, Dallas, United States
The Dallas Salesforce Developers Group meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month. We start at 6:30 PM, and go to around 8:30 or 9:00PM most meetings. The format allows for one or two speakers - usually technical topics, and always intersting. We start each meeting with 'company business' , including a 'come to the front and tell us about....' segment that allows anyone to share their
If you haven't yet registered for the Dev group meeting this month, do we have have an incentive for you.
We have two very special treats lined up for you this month!
First...and with bated breadth...North Texas just claimed a brand new, freshly minted, Salesforce MVP in the person of the extraordinary Melanie-Ziles Head. Being recognized and celebrated as a Salesforce MVP is one of the coveted achievements in the Salesforce ecosystem. You can't campaign for it, or go looking for it...it finds you! (and yes, most recipients are FANTASTICALLY blown away when they find out...Melanie was no exception). Come meet and and congratulate Melanie!
Second....why did Salesforce just pay a whopping 6 Billion dollars for an ETL company. Is it because they know something you don't know? Or is it because Mulesoft has more under the cover than meets the eye. I think it's both. This is MUCH more than a product purchase decision. I think we are seeing a tectonic directional / strategic decision being telegraphed by Salesforce. You need to be part of this conversation. We have Anwesh Rijal from Mulesoft with us on Wednesday. He will reveal the ETL technologies that enticed Salesforce into parting with all those Zeros. Not your everyday decision.
As always, we will feed you, and cover your parking costs too (http://bit.ly/2FA9Vsg). See you at UTD on Wednesday!

Our meetings are fun and informal. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level. Dinner is served at each meeting.
Perhaps the most rewarding part of the evening is the apres-meeting social; our so-called-soon-to-be-world-famous "Cake and Libations" part of the evening. Come join as at our next meeting!!
