Running an A+ Requirements-Gathering for a Salesforce Implementation

About this event

There is no larger contributor to the failure of a Salesforce implementation than a shoddy or inept requirements gathering session. The largest consultancies in the world understand that failure on the part of the Business Analyst can torpedo a project even if the remainder of the execution if flawless. Each year, the Dallas Developers pays homage to the discipline of requirements gathering. This year, DUGee Lawrence Reid is tasked with leading our conversation. Lawrence is a certified scrum master, and has spent a lifetime digging into the REAL objectives of large company projects. Join this critical conversation on Wednesday!

The Dallas Salesforce Developers Group meets on the 4th Wednesday of each month. We start at 6:30 PM, and go to around 8:30 or 9:00PM most meetings. The format allows for one or two speakers - usually technical topics, and always intersting. We start each meeting with 'company business' , including a 'come to the front and tell us about....' segment that allows anyone to share their needs/availability/recent accomplishments etc.

Our meetings are fun and informal. Everyone is welcome regardless of skill level. Dinner is served at each meeting.

Perhaps the most rewarding part of the evening is the apres-meeting social; our so-called-soon-to-be-world-famous "Cake and Libations" part of the evening. Come join as at our next meeting!!
