If you've ever wondered why Salesforce brought Heroku under their umbrella, wonder no more. This week, DUGee **Bradley Delaune** will reveal all in his presentation of how to (and why you may want to) integrate Salesforce with Heroku. Some of the most prolific Salesforce Apps **leverage Heroku** to do their heavy lifting in the background. The final result is sheer magic. Master SFDC magician
If you've ever wondered why Salesforce brought Heroku under their umbrella, wonder no more. This week, DUGee Bradley Delaune will reveal all in his presentation of how to (and why you may want to) integrate Salesforce with Heroku. Some of the most prolific Salesforce Apps leverage Heroku to do their heavy lifting in the background. The final result is sheer magic. Master SFDC magician Bradley Delaune gives us a peek behind the curtain. If you want to ascend to Power Admin/Dev status, you don't want to skip this meeting!
We will also kick off this year's community-giveback with a presentation (and a dev request) from Computers for the Blind (CFTB), a 501c3 recognized organization devoted to providing computers to persons who are blind or vision-impaired. If you have a desire to use your SFDC powers for good (perhaps to atone for your misguided past?) here is your chance to do just that! Lead, follow or just pad your resume...all are invited to this SFDC ORG standup project.
Your DUG leadership team will announce an exciting milestone in our DUGs growth/progress. ....post a message on this board if you think you know what the announcement is. Any guesses?
Dinner, as always, will be provided. We will culminate with cake and libations (I know, I know... this time I won't forget the cake).
See you on Wednesday!
Moyez.
