If you're like me, SOAP, and REST both refer to activities that have nothing to do with computers.  But when you tie in "the cloud" to computing, it gets...well...strange.  

If this all sounds like gobbledygook to you, you are not alone.  Dugee Yad Jayanth will enlighten us to the ways of Salesforce communication with other platforms.  Salesforce has a powerful platform of Web Services, and it becomes ...um..interesting trying to navigate the various API's.  Yad has lived through many Web Services implementations, and brings his unique knowledge to his presentation.  Come and listen to his war stories, and his best practices.  This promises to be a lively conversation because the Dallas Dugee braintrust (aka leadership group) has some cool Web Services debugging methods that they want to share with you.  

On the DallasGiveCamp side, you heard the exciting news last meeting.  We have selected Reading Radio Resource as our NGO.  We will standup a NEW ORG for them at the 3 day GiveCamp event.  Come hear the update on their progress, and join the team if you have not already done so.  Come learn of our top secret plan to wipe the floor with the other teams.

  As is quickly becoming our tradition, we will have cake and libations after the event.  This month we are celebrating the conclusion of our first ever DEV 501class.
