This month's presentations promise to be quite lively and very exciting! We have three major topics:
(1) Leveraging VisualForce techniques and Sections within standard SFDC pages. DUGee Sanchit Singhal will show us a simple but powerful way of implementing advanced capability lists within Standard SFDC Pages. Tables that used to require extensive Javascript code to sort, filter and select, can really be done with the ingenious (and cunning) use of lists and checkboxes within VF sections on a standard page! No JS required. I was blown away. You will be too!
(2) Shhhhh!!! A major SFDC consulting house is in the midst of setting up an SFDC Technical Excellence center in Dallas. We will discuss what it takes to build such a center inside YOUR company, and the challenges and opportunities surrounding such a gargantuan effort. This promises to be an exciting and interactive conversation. You do NOT want to miss out!
(3) I need your help, please. #DF14 is almost upon us, and I am presenting a Developer Track session on integrating the Fitbit monitor (you know, one of those dongles that you wear on your wrist) to Salesforce. Calling all of you with ideas on how to make this a fun and exciting presentation. How would you expose Fitbit data inside your company to get a health kick started. Chatter posts of your data? Competitions on weight loss? Reports? How about analytics?! I need ideas!!!
Of course, dinner will be served. As always, we will indulge in laughter, cake and libations after the presentations. See you there!
