About this event

This month's meeting is a joint presentation by The Dallas Salesforce Developers, UTD Computer Science students, and Women in Technology. We expect a BIG turnout, so come early. Dinner will be served prior to the meeting in the rotunda outside the meeting room (no food allowed in the meeting hall, sorry). Come early; come hungry ;)

Each of the groups will lead a short discussion on their group mandate, and then the Dallas Developers and UTD CS students will build, live (look ma, no hands) a real-time integration between Salesforce and Amazon Web Services (AWS). As our businesses migrate towards the cloud, the marriage between the two standard-bearers (AWS and Salesforce) seems to be inevitable. Salesforce's Heroku platform is built on AWS services, and Salesforce's newest edge (in Australia) rests on AWS. Is your business far behind?

We will build a real-time integration between the two services right-before-your-eyes. Don't miss this exciting event, brought to you jointly by Women In Tech, the UTD CS students and Dallas Salesforce Developers.

Speakers: Nishchitha Nagaraj is a Computer Science graduate of RNS Institute of Technology, and has worked on numerous large Salesforce implementations at Accenture and Thanawalla Digital. She has been a member of the Dallas Salesforce Developers for 3 years, and played and key role in our 2017 standup of The God's Child non-profit effort. Raghu Sanivarapu is a Sr J2EE Developer & Salesforce Developer at American Airlines, and holds a Bachelor of Technology from REC. Raghu is a member of the Dallas Salesforce Developers Group.

As always, we will have dessert and libations (well, coffee) after the meeting...so stick around and mingle! See you on the 28th!
