A community for current and aspiring Black Salesforce entrepreneurs (Partners, independents, and freelancers), allies included, to connect and collaborate. From business-building tactics to cultural support around operating as an underrepresented group in technology, the need for a safe space filled with resources and connection was met with resounding enthusiasm. BOSE was formed in 2020 following the murder of George Floyd and in the midst of Salesforces $100M pledge to support Black businesses. BOSE organized a successful Town Hall that brought representatives from Partner, Supplier Diversity and other initiatives to the table to understand the ask and collaborate on solutions. From that initial meeting, numerous programs and opportunities have been formed to support this group of underrepresented businesses, with more to come.
