As Accenture's Tech Architecture Delivery Associate Manager, Rachel Watson works closely with key stakeholders and client executives to understand the key business needs and is responsible for leading technical teams to delivery. Rachel helps develop solution designs, technical designs and documentation for clients while promoting a collaborative team environment. Rachel's greatest differentiator is her ability to communicate technical concepts to non-technical people further bridging the technology and business teams to common vision.Rachel is passionate about doing her part to contribute to a more equitable society and workplace. Rachel has created DEI (Diversity, Equity and Inclusion) programs within Accenture to foster candid conversations about racial inequality, promote the hiring of women from diverse populations and created a program to help grow the Salesforce technical talent by providing a supportive group supporting learning, growth and obtaining new certifications. Rachel has also been a part of several Accenture recruitment initiatives utilizing her story to attract more women candidates. She speaks at professional conferences on DEI topics and helps provide access to free technical trainings to various minority groups through 100DaysofTrailhead, WITDEVS (Women in Tech Developers) and Phoenix Salesforce Saturday. These groups have incredibly diverse membership and add more diverse technical talent to the technical talent pool.Rachel Co-Founded 100DaysofTrailhead in 2018 focused on supporting other Salesforce professionals grow their skills, obtain new certifications while utilizing their learned skills to build better apps through gamification. 100DaysofTrailhead has grown to a global phenomenon that hosts a yearly competition, and career coaching and learning resources that can be used throughout the year for skill-building opportunities.Rachel enjoys building programs and groups. 100DaysofTrailhead, WITDEVS, Phoenix Salesforce Saturday and Saasie Tech Socials are all groups she Co-Founded that focus on continuous learning, career advancement, group-member encouragement and networking.
