Trailhead Academy have just announced a platform developer 1 bootcamp!
Remember the admin bootcamp - that was so popular with our #SFWelly Ohana? Now there's a developer version...
Register by July 31 and pay $199 USD instead of $900 USD, which includes a PD1 certification voucher, usually $200 USD.
Trailhead Virtual Bootcamp for Platform Developer I is a blended, prescriptive, expert-led training program that gives you a 6 week plan to learn what you need to become a Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I.
Twice a week, you will have the opportunity to tune in and review each week’s learning with your instructor and the chance for Q&A with fellow students. The instructor sessions (30-minute Q&A on Wednesdays and 90-minute review on Fridays) start at the same time every week (but note this might mean Thursday and Saturday NZT). If you register for a program that lists a scheduled start time of 4:00 p.m., all instructor sessions for the 6-week program will start at 4:00 p.m.

Be in quick as those classes will fill fast!
Note that to register from our ANZ region you need to send an email with your info to email@example.com - this email is monitored and you will get a reply :)
Community Cloud expert and Salesforce MVP, Meighan Brodkey, has agreed to share some of her community knowledge with the Wellington Salesforce Ohana.
If you have Community Cloud and you are struggling with sharing settings, privacy and security setup, don't look any further. Join Community Cloud expert Meighan Brodkey and learn how to set Community Cloud from scratch or how to perform security audit and adjust the existing settings. Join us to learn how to setup your sharing via sharing sets, account relationships, channel programs, groups, Apex sharing, profiles, and Licenses. You will understand better how the types of sharing work together, how to decide when to use each, and best practices for implementation of a secure Community. Meighan will also suggest apps to help you check guest perms, monitor, and maintain your user access to keep things running smoothly and your data safe and sound.
This meeting may run for more than 60 minutes!
Meighan was planning to present a similar session at Kiwi Dreaming, which would have been in May. She is still very keen to visit New Zealand once that becomes possible - she lives in Seattle.
This meeting will be run virtually even though we are no longer in lockdown in New Zealand! All of our extended Salesforce Ohana worldwide are welcome to attend this meeting, but please only register if you genuinely plan to attend, to allow as many as possible to attend!
*** Zoom link email is emailed out at 11.20am on the morning (and only to those registered). Please carefully check your spam folder for this email if you've registered but not seen this email. Please email me directly before 11.40am if you need the link, after 11.40am i cannot guarantee I will see your request.***
