Salesforce DX is going GA with Winter'18 (mid October) and it promise to change the way we develop in the platform.

There are many tutorials on how to convert a classic Metadata Api (mdapi) project into a Salesforce DX project but as an ISV, what are the steps involved into it? What's the best migration path? What about existing repos? How to minimize the impact in our teams? What about packing? What about packing 2.0 (still in pilot)? It's the end of packing orgs? How namespaces will be managed?
