Talking to Salesforce REST services from Laravel (Aldo Fernandez @aldoforce)
Since 1994, PHP was one of the main script for web development apps. Too many legacy code and cowboy-coding techniques sent PHP to the shadows, but recently with the release of PHP7 a new framework is getting the spotlights. Laravel allows to rapidly create web apps with many features from other popular frameworks like Ruby on Rails, Django, MEAN, etc. We are going to introduce the main concepts of Laravel and learn how to connect to a Salesforce org to leverage the REST API, and custom endpoints.
