"Events for the Connected Campus" (Thad Dahlberg & Ryan Blake, University of St. Thomas)
Events are a common denominator for all partners on a college campus. What isn’t common are the tools or processes utilized to manage and track their event registrants, creating discrepancies in data and more work to sync the data the college’s Student Information System (SIS). We’ve developed a tool, utilizing the Salesforce Platform, that is bespoke to our campus partners allowing them to create, customize and bring their registrant information into our Student Engagement System, Salesforce. Learn about why we decided to custom build and how it serves our campus partners in Admissions (Grad and Undergrad) and Alumni with the opportunity for current student events as well.

"Success in Advancement with Salesforce" (Jim Hubert, Redpath Consulting Group)
Finding new donors, growing gifts from existing supporters, building alumni engagement, and managing the back-end of fundraising requires a lot of attention to detail. This session will give you an overview of how Salesforce can help you accomplish these goals and will include an overview and demo of the new Salesforce Gift Entry Manager (GEM) application.

CumulusCI and SFDX, Not Just for Developers (Nick Lindberg, University of Minnesota)
We all are likely familiar with using sandboxes to build and test our Salesforce instances. New functionality now exists to develop using SFDX. SFDX is a modern developer experience that is source-driven, meaning you have version control. Combined with Salesforce.org's CumulusCI which is an automation layer that sits on SFDX, it can be a really powerful tool for anyone developing on Salesforce. And yes, this includes admins. This session will showcase what is SFDX and CumulusCI and how an admin can find value in using SFDX and CumulusCI.
