Join us for a special joint meeting of the Upper Midwest Higher Ed user group and the Twin Cities SFDC user group.  We'll be covering a variety of topics to help you stay informed on the latest Salesforce has to offer, and you'll also get a chance to see some of the cool stuff that other Salesforce teams are working on.

We have done a lot of work to switch the March 25 user group meeting to a virtual format and are excited for this event to take place in just a few days.  Here are some updates on this special joint meeting of the Upper Midwest Higher Ed user group and the Twin Cities SFDC user group:.
1) The virtual sessions and schedule are now set, you can view details on the event website at https://trailblazercommunitygroups.com/e/m66m77/ .  Thanks to our presenters for your flexibility and willingness to share.
2) We will be sending you an email on Tuesday with the weblink for the virtual meeting.

March 13 note from user group leaders: 
In the poll we sent out earlier this week we asked for your input on how to proceed with the March 25 user group meeting, and your clear guidance was to "switch to a virtual format".  After reviewing this as well as considering recent health events we have decided to move the March 25 meeting to a virtual format, and an in-person option will not be provided.
We are committed to making the virtual meeting a quality experience, and are working through virtual meeting resources provided by Salesforce and are talking with our presenters on the best way to do this.  We will be sending out details on the virtual meeting format by the end of next week. 
With so many cancellations and disruptions in our lives due to COVID-19 it's important that we find ways to stay connected, and we're excited to be able to do that through this virtual meeting.  It will be different but we are committed to making it good, and are excited to be able to have each of you participate as well as add others who might have been unable to join us in person.

Welcome, Announcements, and Instructions for Virtual Meeting
Session Slot 1 - The Story of a Lightning Migration that Worked!	We started our migration from Classic to Lightning this fall because it was something we were "supposed to do". However along the way we learned that Lightning provided a lot of benefits that have allowed us deliver a better user experience and help our organization get more value from Salesforce, and we have just turned off Classic in our org. We'll share the lessons we learned along the way and some Lightning features we really like. (Presenter: Gayle Grant, Crown College)
Session Slot 1 - State of Salesforce Data Protection Survey Results	After surveying 2,000 Salesforce customers at Dreamforce ‘19, OwnBackup’s data protection experts are ready to share the data loss and corruption trends for the New Year. Digital transformation on the Salesforce Platform has helped enterprises break data silos and deliver connected experiences across channels and departments, and to provide these exceptional experiences companies store extensive data within Salesforce. Our survey results uncovered that most companies have no comprehensive backup and recovery strategy and are unsure if they’re prepared for a data loss or corruption, so this is an important priority in 2020. Session Slot 2 - Let's Talk About Report and Dashboards!	Whether you're new to creating reports and dashboards, or an experienced user, we've got something for you. We'll give an overview of reports and dashboards, with a special focus on newer features and comparison between lightning reports and classic reports. Also, bring any reporting questions you might have for discussion. (Presenter: Chris Verbracken, Salesforce.org)
Session Slot 2 - Changing the Nurturing Game with Pardot Engagement Studio	You have the tools but how to do you start setting up a complex portfolio of classes in Pardot Engagement Studio? From content strategy, technical set-up, measurement and optimization, get a glimpse of how we use various tools including Salesforce CRM, Pardot and Google Analytics Data Studio with a team of two managing the whole process. Learn how and why we used Pardot Engagement Studio to nurture interest in specific programs, cross promote within categories of programs and eventually promote the entire portfolio with relevant email content and reminders to the sales team to check-in. Key Learnings: - How to get started with nurturing campaigns in Pardot Engagement Studio - An example of our approach to a complex portfolio of over 30 programs - A look at google data studio as a way to measure results (Presenters: Susie Eckstein and Karen Locke, Univ of St. Thomas)

Session Slot 3 - Balancing a 360-Degree Customer View with your Client’s Privacy	Balancing the Customer 360 (not the product) with the right to privacy and a data recall/deletion per client request. (Presenter: Kat Noble Moore, Carlson Capital)

Session Slot 4 - Data Integrity and Quality	Facilitators: Allie Lawler (Eide Bailly) and Melissa Fox (Wolters Kluwer)
Session Slot 4 - EASY as 1,2,3 (Almost)	After several years in Salesforce with a managed package for admissions applications, learn how we started over in a new org with EASY (Enterprise Application Solution for Yield, an open-source solution for Higher Ed on the Salesforce platform).
