Good Morning Everyone!
It's time to get the June Meeting rolling!
<strong style="font-size : large">What are we doing?
The June meeting will be a general "meet and greet" event at the Gold Nugget Tavern and Grille in Minnetonka. This will be a great opportunity to meet your fellow Force.com technologists in a more unstructured and social setting - after hours! It's a great opportunity to pour over your questions and coding "challenges" while pouring a glass of your beverage of choice!
Where are we doing it?
The Gold Nugget is a great place - check out their website (and menu) at http://goldnuggettavernandgrille.com/. (Bring a few bucks for food and drinks)
When you arrive, head on back to the Private Event Room. We'll be back there with a bunch of chairs and a few tables.
We have the room starting at 6:30pm, it's up to the last person out the door when we wind down. =)
Why an informal meeting?
One of the many logistical things about kicking up a group of this size is getting a feel for what everyone likes and dislikes - and making sure that enough types of events are available for everyone to attend something. Our first meeting was a large-format high engagement meeting; second was more speaker-led. Both were during the workday. Let's see how people engage with this less formal / after-hours format.
What will we be talking about?
This meeting is meant to be informal - there will be no official agenda, but I would like any volunteers (looking for 2-3) to contact me if they want to start with a certain topic. I'll announce the "seed topics" during introductions and let people start there - additional groups and topics I'm sure will splinter off as the evening goes on.
If you want to bring a topic to the group, but don't necessarily want to START the conversation with it, let me know as well.
Questions? Shoot me an email - otherwise I'll see you all there!
-Andy
