Do Not Fear the Command Line, You're Smarter than It

In the beginning there was a command line…actually, there were punch cards, but let’s not go there.

The customisation user interface of Salesforce has ​taken peopl​​e who didn't think they could build apps and turned them into superheroes. Many want to do more with their orgs, and faster. Salesforce DX has the potential to democratize the command line for admins and give them the power they didn’t even know they wanted.

This talk is meant to be an introduction to command line usage in general, and a practical demonstration of several admin​ and developer tasks, but done through the command line. It was originally given at Londons Calling using the force-cli command line utility. Now with Salesforce DX in pilot the demo will include using that command line tool, along with some of the features it includes.
