Salesforce Nonprofit User Group, Sydney, Australia

Join us for a real-life user story about how BBM Youth Support have used an open-source Salesforce-based CRM solution for outbound grantmaking to manage funds awarded in programs such as grants and scholarships.

About this event

Outbound Funds is an initiative of the Power Of Us community to provide the foundations in Salesforce for nonprofits to manage funds awarded in programs such as grants and scholarships. BBM Youth Support provides scholarships for young Australians to travel overseas to further their careers. They have built processes for managing the application, granting, overseas travel and post award follow up of the scholarships based on the Outbound Funds app. The session will cover why BBM decided to use Outbound Funds, the core Outbound Funds app and the modifications made to meet the BBM requirements.

Our speakers will be Melanie Stray and Ian Munro. Melanie is CEO of BBM Youth Support, has held a number of senior roles in the nonprofit sector over the last 15 years and, prior to that, senior management roles in marketing. Ian Munro is an independent Salesforce Administration consultant with 15 years' experience in the nonprofit sector and over 25 years' experience in commercial and nonprofit roles developing and supporting various CRM systems.
