Hey everyone! I've got huge news about the next San Diego Salesforce Developer Group Meetup!

April 28 - May 5 marks this year's Global Salesforce1 Developer Week, an event encompassing 1.5 million Salesforce Developers world-wide! The San Diego Salesforce DG will be participating from 6pm to 9pm on Wednesday, April 30th, and I am thrilled to announce that we will be welcoming a very special guest, Salesforce Developer Evangelist Pat Patterson!

Pat is HUGE in the Salesforce Developer community, and is the author of some of the most interesting developer blog posts anywhere. If you've read "Visualizing Salesforce Data… in Minecraft!?", or "Getting Started with Chromecast on Visualforce", then you know exactly what I mean!

In addition to hearing from Pat, we will spend time taking a hands-on look at Salesforce1. Attendees will have the opportunity to build a Salesforce1 app, and even grab an exclusive event T-Shirt (while supplies last). Please be sure to bring your laptop if you'd like to try your hand at building an app!

As usual, we will have free food and beverages for all attendees. We will also have new books, developer cheat-sheets, and a bunch of other Salesforce swag to give away (did someone say "Salesforce Hoodies"? YES!). I'll send out an update with a detailed agenda a few days before the event, but you should pencil in 6pm to 6:45pm for food and networking, with the main content of the evening to start around 7:00pm.

This is going to be the biggest San Diego Developer Group event we've ever done, so please RSVP now to save your spot!
