Pei Mun Lim will be leading us in an Active Listening Masterclass, helping us to be effective students of human nature.
We'll also be hearing the story of Nebula Women’s Network as Sarah Kelleher shares how she was inspired to bring some WiT goodness back to her company.
The event is open to women working with Salesforce, whether for 15 minutes or 15 years!

5:45 PM	If you don’t see it, be it: How to create an employee inclusion group	When organisations promote an inclusive and diverse workplace, we all thrive. But what if that doesn’t exist in your place of work? Attending the Salesforce Women in Tech events opened my eyes to the power of bringing women together and shining a light on really important issues. But there was no platform for those discussions at Nebula. Let’s follow the story of the Nebula Women’s Network to share how you can bring this power to your own organisation and realise that no change is too small.

6:30 PM	Active Listening Masterclass - How to Be an Effective Student of Human Nature	"I see what you see. I hear what you hear. I feel what you feel.” Being able to truly connect with someone, to be on their wavelength and to be in tune emotionally is the hallmark of a masterful communicator. For over 14 years, I have been a listening volunteer for Samaritans, a charity that supports emotionally distressed callers who may be suicidal and I feel that I am able to teach you what it means to be in tune with someone - mentally and emotionally. In this highly interactive workshop we'll explore the powerful concepts of neural synchrony and emotional resonance and how to make deeper human connections. You'll get an opportunity to practice listening by exploring emotions and thoughts in vulnerable conversations. By understanding these concepts and applying emotional intelligence and communication strategies, anyone can learn to master the skill of a great communicator.
