Copado Essentials was known as Click to Deploy until bought by Copado

There is a free version!

Easy to use, great first step

Wildcards in Copado Essentials will capture everything - for back up!

Copado Essentials can be used to back your METADATA not data

Works well with profiles and permission sets

A developer sandbox can replace the full sandbox in the diagram if you don’t have a full sandbox

Noting that in March we had an in person session covering Copado (the full-blown version). Rosie recommends this highly. But it does cost a lot, so depends on your company size.

There's ongoing interest from the SFWelly community for DevOps info at present, so here's another session! 

David Smith first presented DevOps for Admins at Kiwi Dreaming in Auckland in March, and it was a very popular session - but not recorded. David has graciously agreed to repeat this session virtually for the SFWelly audience.
