Albert James is a veteran Solution Architect with industry experience in Financial Services, Public Sector, Real Estate and recently Healthcare.Albert started his professional career with IBM in the early ‘90s as a developer. He joined the advanced technologies lab within the then fledgling Internet Division, working on projects such as web-enabling global golf and tennis events, the Olympics and other high visibility events. He moved on to technical pre-sales in the Wall Street business unit as a software architect before moving on to be a consulting architect.Over the years, Albert has worked for large and small companies, founded two companies, lectured at New York University and has been a stay at home parent for three years. He’s held roles in various disciplines of architecture including solution, platform, enterprise, application, data and infrastructure. He has a diverse background in technologies, methodologies and delivery approaches.A bold architect, Albert loves a challenge and prides himself solving the most difficult customer challenges by using the simplest possible solution. He particularly enjoys full lifecycle projects where he can help establish the vision, seeing it all the way through to reality.Albert has spent the past 6 years focused on Salesforce-centric solutions. He holds 14 Salesforce certifications including Application Architect and System Architect and aspires to be a CTA one day.Albert moved to Sydney from New York in 2011 for improved quality of life. Albert is currently a Director at Deloitte Digital within the Salesforce practice. In his free time he enjoys hiking, swimming, running, cycling and is also a qualified scuba diving instructor.
