Topic 2: Orchestrator

Special Guest: Justin Carter, Delivery Lead - Purple Otter

Salesforce sometimes describes Flow Orchestrator as a "State Machine" - it takes inputs and changes state based on those inputs. What does that really mean and what types of problems can Flow Orchestrator solve that can't be solved with other tools? In this session, I will explain a grants management use case, and then demonstrate the value that Flow Orchestrator can bring in coordinating long-lived, multi-stage processes involving multiple users. I will also cover some of the quirks around design, configuration, and testing.
