Salesforce User Group, Ottawa, Canada
Please join us for a joint virtual meeting with the Ottawa Salesforce Users Group and the Algonquin College Student Group on Monday January 25th from 3 to 5 PM. In this meeting, the 1st presentation will be a deep dive into Trailhead and the 2nd presentation is a deep dive on how the National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland built a guest reservations system.
The topics for the January 25th meeting are as follows:
1) Trailhead Deep Dive Presentation. Jennifer Weaver from Salesforce
What a year we had in 2020! So many things have changed, including the ways we work and learn. See how Trailhead has been designed to support us all on our journey through this "New Normal." Then take a step further as we dive hands-on into the "Build your Personal Portfolio on Salesforce" project and see how you can leverage Salesforce to build your own 'living resume' to share with the world.
2) Building a Guest Reservation System Presentation - Michael Grandel is Director, Business Intelligence at National Aquarium in Baltimore, Maryland.
When the National Aquarium needed a guest reservations system to manage building capacity for reopening during the COVID-19 pandemic, they built a declarative Salesforce application that leveraged several platform features, including Flow, communities, guest user licenses, custom metadata, custom permissions, and Lightning app pages.
Join us to level up your skills!
