Fundraisers and marketing people: what do you want/get from Salesforce? Come hear Diana GIbson and Emma Edwards as they share their thoughts on what makes marketing work for fundraisers using Salesforce.
Diana Gibson will talk about marketing and fundraising – why do they need that?
We’ll discuss and translate strategies, tactics and language that marketers and fundraisers work with everyday.
Marketers and fundraisers can have a language of their own – think reach, audience, lifetime journey, cost per conversion, activation, call to action, dollar handle, uplift, segment, two – step, return on investment. The marketer wants segmentation by persona type, fundraisers want it by recency, frequency and/or monetary, and the campaigner wants it by electorate! What they require from their Salesforce support people sometimes seems illogical, difficult to deliver or just plain not that important amongst all things ‘Salesforce administration’. But their language has meaning, its part of their strategy and there is (usually) proven method to what seems like a madness!
Understand why these things are important for your marketers and fundraisers. and if you have your own queries about the logic behind their requests, drop us a note here (https://forms.gle/EgaGj2aGNSqzncdZ9) and lets talk about why its important to them!
Emma Edwards is going to look at the new segmentation engine that's part of the Nonprofit Cloud and uses Data Cloud. Find out what your organisation could be doing to segment your supporters.
