Looking for a new option for your grants, scholarship programs, and more? During this informative user group event, Jessica Rosenberg, consultant with North Peak Solutions, and Nell O'Connell, Grants Manager with Community Catalyst, will tell you all about the Outbound Funds Module (OFM). OFM is a community-inspired and created product originally developed as part of the Salesforce.org Open Source Commons program.

In 2020, Salesforce announced the addition of OFM to their suite of offerings, bringing this new option to the table for foundations and nonprofits making grants, running scholarship programs, and more. OFM is free and open source, and it configures Salesforce to track outgoing funds, providing a flexible base for an end-to-end outbound fund management system. Like other open source Salesforce products, teams can customize and extend OFM to meet their specific needs.

Since OFM is new on the scene, there are a lot of questions:

• What is it, exactly? There will be a demo!
• What kinds of organizations and teams does it work for? Will it work for mine? We will talk about use cases and keys to success they have seen in implementations.
• What other applications or systems (and costs) do I need to consider to build a truly comprehensive GMS? We will talk through common extensions and integrations.

Our goal is that people walk away with an understanding of what the product is, which organizations it’s well-suited for, and next steps to take if it’s a solution they want to consider.

North Peak Solutions is a Salesforce implementation partner that's been working on the OFM project from the beginning. Their team co-led the initiative to design the product for several years and they've implemented OFM for 8 organizations.
