Feb 20, 12:00 – 4:00 PM (UTC)
Salesforce Higher Ed User Group, London, United Kingdom
An afternoon at LSE exploring approaches and supporting technology that enable educational institutions to evolve their technology environments and continuously improve - using the Higher Education Business Capability Model and the example of the Student Records System space as one area in much need of evolutionary, if not revolutionary, improvement.
In the session we will discuss process mapping, requirements gathering, architecture, business and technology capabilities through the lens of how to plot a route to delivering SRS capabilities by other technology beyond the traditional SRS, and specifically Salesforce by example. And we'll also look at how continuous improvement can be delivered through change intelligence. All in conjunction with Elements.cloud, where we'll look at their tooling and how it may help, Live!
Although we'll use Salesforce as an example, generally we'll explore a 'shift left' approach to engaging internal customers with visual requirements capture to help accelerate & improve user stories and their deployment impact. The end goal being an improved approach to large change or iterative updates that tackles the issues of complexity, technical debt and documentation that are common challenges.
