The sprint demo is a place for developers to shine. You get to show off your hard work, get praise for delivering value and feel the impact you’re making to the organization. There’s just one problem; your sprint demo sucks. You’re losing the business users in technical jargon. You’re explaining what you did, not what you made. The messaging is all wrong. Are people truly excited to attend your demos, or do they feel like its an obligation to the agile process? Remove the ‘me’ in demo, let your work shine on its own, and you’ll be justly rewarded.
