With the team growing and multiple developers and admins contributing to releases, we made a decision to improve our development and deployment model.

There are existing tools that are available for this purpose but in order to save license costs and provide a custom alternative, we have implemented a Continuous Integration pipeline with Salesforce DX. We are using continuous integration to streamline and optimize our development and deployment process, improve efficiency and reduce the risk of errors getting to our production orgs.
