Jan 24, 6:00 – 9:00 PM

Join us to kick off 2024 and to hear all about the upcoming Spring 24 release as well as a look at the cool stuff we can do with Lightning Web Security and how users' lives can be improved with the use of the RefreshView API. Of course we'll have the usual community news, networking, and swag. We might even get a definitive answer as to how to pronounce "regex".

About this event

Join us to kick off 2024 and to hear all about the upcoming Spring 24 release as well as a look at the cool stuff we can do with Lightning Web Security and how users' lives can be improved with the use of the RefreshView API.

Of course we'll have the usual community news, networking, and swag. We might even get a definitive answer as to how to pronounce "regex".

Please note that this is an IN-PERSON event only, and sadly due to repeat no-shows we might have to start REFUSING ENTRY to folk if they RSVP and repeatedly don't make the events. This is something we really want to enforce, but many folk have not been able to attend the events due to others taking up a ticket and then not showing up. We understand that plans do change, but if they do please update your RSVP as soon as you can.

Spring 24 Developer Release Highlights - Keir Bowden

We did threaten you... and so co-organiser, CTA, MVP (HOF) and all round Salesforce guru Keir is back with his take on the good, the bad, and the ugly of the upcoming Spring 24 Salesforce release.

Lightning Web Security & The RefreshView API - Todd Halfpenny

Let's take a dive into Lightning Web Security. We’ll cover what is, some of its impacts, and what it offers us. We’ll look at things such as cross-namespace component use, and increased support for 3rd party JavaScript libraries. We’ll also take a look at RefreshView API and the ability to synchronise components’ data without reloading the whole page, with both Locker Service and LWS.

As always, we will give everyone plenty of time to talk and network, eat, and have a fun and relaxing evening. We'll also cover the latest news from the community, and hopefully have some swag to give away too... We might even get a definitive answer as to how to pronounce "regex".

Please note this is an in-person only event - only RSVP if you are confident you will be able to attend.

Huge thanks to Nebula for hosting and sponsoring us this month.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting on the day.
