We had a super meet last month, and we're back in Feb with another two amazing sessions for you all.
This month we're joined by Rob Cowell who'll talk us through some innovative ways to handle Apex errors and we'll delve into Offline LWCs for Field Service Lightning with Ankit Gangwani.
Please note that this is an IN-PERSON event only, and sadly due to repeat no-shows we might have to start REFUSING ENTRY to folk if they RSVP and repeatedly don't make the events. This is something we really want to enforce, but many folk have not been able to attend the events due to others taking up a ticket and then not showing up. We understand that plans do change, but if they do please update your RSVP as soon as you can.
Discover advanced error-handling techniques in Apex, with examples of dynamic error handling and logging strategies for system resilience and developer contentment.
This session is a perfect fit for the Developer group as it addresses a high-impact use case—enabling offline capabilities in Field Service Lightning (FSL) applications using Lightning Data Services (LDS) without the need for Apex. Field service teams often operate in locations with unreliable connectivity, and this session highlights an efficient solution to ensure continuous access to critical data, boosting productivity and reliability. Leveraging LDS eliminates the need for custom Apex code, making the solution accessible to both developers and Salesforce admins. By attending this session, participants will gain insights into the architecture of LDS-based offline solutions, practical implementation steps, and best practices for optimizing mobile performance. With a hands-on approach, this session aligns with the goal of advancing Salesforce innovations, providing the audience with a scalable, low-code strategy to enhance user experiences and productivity in FSL through offline-ready solutions.
