Dreamforce 23 Highlights and How to sniff out an unhealthy Salesforce org using Python

Sep 20, 2023, 5:00 – 8:00 PM

Salesforce Developer Group, London, United Kingdom

Join us for another great Trailblazer community meetup to discuss the highlights for developers from Dreamforce 23, and to hear from Martin Gardner on how you can use Python to sniff out an unhealthy Salesforce org. We will of course have our usual run down of news from the community and the chance to win some cool SWAG.

About this event

Dreamforce 23 will happen between now and our next meet, so why not join us to find out all about the highlights from San Francisco for us Salesforce Developers?

We also have a really exciting and interesting sounding talk from from Martin Gardner on how you can use Python to sniff out an unhealthy Salesforce org.

We will of course have our usual run down of news from the community and the chance to win some cool SWAG.

Please note that this is an IN-PERSON event only, and sadly due to repeat no-shows we might have to start REFUSING ENTRY to folk if they RSVP and repeatedly don't make the events. This is something we really want to enforce, but many folk have not been able to attend the events due to others taking up a ticket and then not showing up. We understand that plans do change, but if they do please update your RSVP as soon as you can.

Dreamforce 23's Developer Highlights - The Organisers

We'll be covering some of the developer highlights from Dreamforce 23, and hope to have some good discussions on your thoughts and views into the announcements.

How to sniff out an unhealthy Salesforce org using Python - Martin Gardner

Learn about the key smells that indicate an unhealthy Salesforce org, see how these can be sniffed out using a lightweight toolkit built on Python, and learn what to recommend to clients suffering from a smelly Salesforce org.

This session will be useful for anyone in the following situations:

  • Performing an analysis or assessment of a Salesforce org.
  • Encountering performance issues and looking for help with diagnosis.
  • Having difficulty adding configuration and changes owing to a spaghettified solution.
  • Freshly assigned to a new project and needing to get an understanding of the current state of the org.
  • Enforcing best practice in configuration and coding architecture.

As always, we will give everyone plenty of time to talk and network, eat, and have a fun and relaxing evening. We'll also cover the latest news from the community, and hopefully have some swag to give away too

Please note this is an in-person only event - only RSVP if you are confident you will be able to attend.

Huge thanks to Zopa for hosting and sponsoring us this month.

After registering, you will receive a confirmation email containing information about joining the meeting on the day.
