We all heard about plans from Salesforce to end of life permissions on Profiles and encouragements to move to Permission Set based security model. Later plans changed and end of life announcement was cancelled, but does it mean we should stay with Profiles? Salesforce best practices says - no. Permission Sets are getting much love from Salesforce by improving the usability and transparency. So on one hand we do not have any hard limit on when we should be migrating and there's no exact migration plans suggested, but on the other hand all the focus now is on Permission Sets and Permission Set Groups. Lets come together to discuss the pros and cons of this kind of migration and possible plans on how to do it in a workshop format.
