About this event

UPDATE: Event has been moved to the 9th floor!

For October's event we'll be continuing our SF Dev Essentials Series with Lightning Web Components (LWCs)! Taylor will cover the basics of building LWCs, some tips and tricks we've learned along the way, then let you build a simple Lightning Web Component yourself.

Preparation: Before the session, please make sure you have an org you can work in and VS Code setup with the Salesforce plugins. Dev orgs can be created at developer.salesforce.com. Follow this trail to set up VS Code: https://trailhead.salesforce.com/content/learn/projects/quick-start-lightning-web-components/set-up-visual-studio-code

We'll be providing dinner and drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic). Please let us know in the registration if you have any food allergies.

Pay attention during the session, because at the end we'll be doing a pop quiz and giving away Salesforce schwag! Come win a mug, blanket, puffy, or other item!

Getting there: Light rail or bus to Union Station, or drive and park on the street or in the building's parking garage (access from 19th street) - parking fees apply.

This meeting will not be recorded, so make sure to show up to learn. LWC resources will be shared in Slack for those that can't make it.
