First, Bill will discuss some of the stranger aspects of the Metadata API and the List, Retrieve, and Deployment Metadata commands. This is a great introduction to working with Metadata on the Salesforce Platform, and also has many useful tips for more experienced developers.

Then, Bill will shift to the transition from Org Driven to Source Driven development and the role of Salesforce DX, DevHubs, and Scratch Orgs. This includes a discussion of the role that Administrators and Developers have in reducing Org Complexity and using Second Generation Packages.
