For this meetup we will be back at the Desynit office. Pizza and refreshments will be provided on arrival.

We have 2 presentations this month. Ahead of their slot at Dreamforce next week, Pedro Molina and Julio Fernandez will be running us through their presentation "From Platform Events to the Pub/Sub API". In their own words:

"Come join us to find out how we can implement event-driven apps in Salesforce. We will go through the full process of migrating an app, from the Platform Events approach to the Pub/Sub API approach."

Also, the Bristol DUGs local dev hero Dorian Sutton will be walking us through his favourite feature(s) of the new Winter '23 release.

The meetup will be hosted indoors. We ask all attendees to please be aware of their health. If you feel unwell, or have any cold / flu like symptoms then please do not come to the meetup (don't fret, our next meetup is only a few months away). Masks are not mandatory, and we ask you all to please respect each attendees choice on if they wear one or not.

Following the presentations, we will be heading out to the nearby King Street to continue the discussion of all things Salesforce and development.

Event Directions: 

This evening will be hosted by Desynit, in their office on 30 Queen Charlotte Street. The building can be found in central Bristol, near Queens Square, next to King Street. It is a large yellow building with a blue door. When you arrive please press 14 on the key pad, followed by bell icon. Once inside the building, please make your way to the top floor using the lift or stairs. Unfortunately the office is not currently directly wheelchair accessible, please let us know if you require any assistance and we will make arrangements for you to attend the evening.
