Feb 12, 6:00 – 9:00 PM (UTC)
Salesforce Developer Group, Bristol, United Kingdom
The February 2025 Salesforce Developer meetup will be hosted at Desynit's office (30 Queen Charlotte Street) on Wednesday 12th of February, doors open at 6pm There will be pizza, drinks, lots of Salesforce development content and plenty of chat with your local development community.
For this meetup we will be at the Desynit office. Pizza and refreshments will be provided on arrival.
We have a presentation this month from Jeremy Yearron, director and senior developer at Bristol Salesforce consultancy Desynit entitled "Avoid Apex Test Data Turmoil". You write some Apex, you need to test it, which means inserting lots of records, and that means slow, slow slow tests. Is there another way? Jeremy has, in his own words, "been developing business systems since the dawn of the desktop PC", and has a lifetime of hard-won wisdom and experience to share.
Following that, there will be a couple of lightning talks from Dorian and Aidan on using Apache NiFi with Salesforce, and developing with Illuminated Cloud.
The meetup will be hosted indoors. We ask all attendees to please be aware of their health. If you feel unwell, or have any cold / flu like symptoms then please do not come to the meetup (don't fret, our next meetup is only a few months away). Masks are not mandatory, and we ask you all to please respect each attendees choice on if they wear one or not.
Please note: Salesforce no longer reimburses us for alcoholic drinks bought for these events, and since we do not (currently) take sponsorship we will not be providing any. Following the presentations, we will be heading out to a nearby venue to continue the evening, but there will not be a bar tab as in the past, sorry! We welcome any feedback about how these events work, so please let us know what you think.
We cannot wait to see you there!
Dorian, Edith and Aidan
