With digital processes now being more or less the norm, we’ve largely moved on from encouraging digital transformation and moved more towards optimisation. With tools like Scrive and CPQ (Configure Price Quotation) in Salesforce you can automate and streamline everything from pricing calculations, product config tools billing and quotes to sending your contracts to get signed & getting real time.
In the past when global pricing alignment was not commonly implemented, companies had to do a lot of manual work to align exchange rates, their pricing strategy and generating quotes. This all changed with Sales Cloud, enabling you to maintain consistency in your contracts and orders but for years there were still a number of tasks that remained manual and, at times, quite cumbersome.
CPQ (Configure Price Quote) was built to rectify this and in its roll-out we’ve seen Europe as one of the regions with the highest demand for such a solution but why could that be?
