About this event

With AI everywhere — and data breaches on the rise! — security is often an afterthought until it’s too late. Cybersecurity is a shared responsibility, and being security-minded is one of the most fundamental (but often overlooked) safeguards that should be advocated when working with Salesforce.

After helping various organizations assess their Salesforce security settings, learn from THREE AMAZING Salesforce Architect Community Group Leaders about how to make security best practice recommendations:

  • Rachel Park Brayboy (Los Angeles): As a member of the Low-Code Security Alliance (LCSA) and security awareness advocate, Rachel will discuss the Salesforce internal security settings — organization-wide defaults (OWD), roles, profiles, permission sets, & sharing rules — and how they all comprise your data security model.
  • Amey Kulkarni (Fort Worth / Salesforce Director, NTT Data): A Salesforce strategy and architecture solution leader (plus Salesforce Certified System & Application Architect) on his journey to CTA, Amey will review important external Salesforce security risks and best practices.
  • Blanca Leon-Carter (Chicago / Innovation Architect, DeVry University): Blanca helps lead RAD Women — closing the gender and diversity gaps in tech — and is a Salesforce MVP, Well-Architected Ambassador, plus a founding member of the Low-Code Security Alliance (LCSA). She has 20+ years of experience managing Operations and Information Technology, 4+ years of consulting at a leading global Salesforce partner, 11+ years of leading Salesforce transformations, and will close our event discussing Salesforce security impacts through an AI lens.

It’s crucial to follow the principle of least privilege, implement security controls, and strengthen your Salesforce instance to understand how NOT to become a data leak horror story!
