A Crash Course in Cross Filters for Reports

Jun 29, 3:30 – 5:00 PM

Salesforce Admin Group, Washington, D.C., United States

Get ready to shift your reporting skills into the next gear with the power and simplicity of cross filters.

About this event

Most complex filtering requirements for a Salesforce report can be solved with a cross filter. This feature allows you to specify filter criteria for a set of records based on their child records. When combined with advanced report type configurations, you can quickly generate spectacular intersections of data for analysis. We'll start with some basic scenarios to get our feet wet and quickly work our way into more complex use-cases that are shockingly simple to solve with cross filters. No longer will you have to export data and manipulate it manually to filter the results based on related records, duplicates, or other data sets - it can all be done directly in Salesforce with just a few clicks! Get ready to shift your reporting skills into the next gear with the power and simplicity of cross filters.

Location Details

We will be holding our meeting on the fourth (4) floor of the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial Library in Washington, DC. When you enter the main doors (of the vestibule) via the G St NW entrance, take the stairs/elevator immediately to the right up to the 4th floor. Once on the 4th floor, go through the doors to the inner part of the library and turn left. Walk down the common space until you come to a glass wall housing the conference suite on your left, enter the doors, and you will find the conference room 401-G along the back wall.
