Citizen Development:
We’ll explore the concept of citizen development, which is a companion methodology to the agile process. Citizen development empowers business units to manage their own backlog for small enhancements and business as usual type requests. By leveraging citizen development, designated power users follow the same SDLC as you, so there is no risk of “Shadow IT” causing incidents or technical debt. We’ll take a look at the fundamental concepts behind these programs and show you how we implemented it for our largest org.
