Salesforce Admin Group, Milwaukee, United States
The Milwaukee Admin Group welcomes Kyla Farroll, presenting "Using simple solutions to solve complex problems - UW-Madison's rapid pandemic response using Salesforce"
In the last two years, many organizations had to pivot and deploy technology to manage their pandemic response. For UW-Madison, there was a sense of urgency to find a solution which would help identify and facilitate the movement of students in residence halls who were testing positive for Covid-19. In this session, we'll review a Salesforce case management solution which launched in 3+ weeks, blending data from multiple disparate source systems and provided users with the functionality and data visibility they needed to support residential students.. We'll review how immediate requirements were identified and used to build a MVP solution, and the iterative process that followed which expanded on functionality and usage over the last 18 months.
Kyla is responsible for implementing Salesforce and supporting marketing automation across the University of Wisconsin-Madison as the Associate Director of Enterprise CRM and Engagement Solutions. She has 29 years of higher education experience in both student-facing and technology implementation roles. She spent over a year with a global Salesforce partner as a Senior Digital Transformation and Strategy consultant prior to joining UW-Madison in 2020. Kyla is a co-lead for the Upper Midwest Higher Education user group in the Trailblazer community and is 3x Salesforce certified.
