5 Tips Every Salesforce Admin Needs in 2022

With every release, Salesforce rolls out more incredible features and enhancements. As a Salesforce Administrator, it’s your responsibility to stay up to date on these key changes and continuously aim to review and enhance your Salesforce org.

It’s not all about you though! There are also many new fun features that can enhance productivity for your users. Make it a goal in 2022 to upskill your users so they can enjoy the benefits too, increasing your adoption and overall ROI (return on investment) of Salesforce. Christine has put together the top five tips and features every Salesforce Admin needs in 2022 to get you thinking about how you’ll bring your admin a-game.

Jessica Hargreaves - Salesforce Trivia Quiz

Jessica is the Marketing and Administration Executive at Coacto and works with Community Group Leader, Paul to develop these meetings. Jessica is also responsible for creating the Salesforce Trivia Quiz and will be back with more tough questions in May.

Buyan Thyagarajan - Salesforce MVP at Eigenx

Buyan is a Salesforce Marketing Cloud champion and Salesforce MVP. Buyan will be joining us virtually from Delaware, U.S.

Developers are from Mars! Admins are from Venus! How to write requirements and stories for happy Developers and Admins

Buyan will be delivering a fun packed session on helping Admins and Business Analysts to write stories and requirements effectively on custom development and flow needs. By attending the session, you will walk away with:

1. A 5 Part framework which you can use to validate your stories before collaborating with your developers and admins on custom development and flow needs.

2. Tips on communicating to developers and maybe get a dance from them!

3. Feeling happy from fun packed session!

Buyan will also share the toolkit for the framework with a link to download it (for free!) which you can use to develop your own stories.

Rangan Goldsmith - Salesforce Technical Architect

Rangan is a Salesforce Technical Architect with 15 + years of Salesforce experience. With clients ranging from Media and Publishing, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Health sciences and NGO domains, Rangan's career has spanned across CMS systems, AWS, MS dynamics, operational monitoring systems and of course, Salesforce.

Dealing with high data volumes with real world examples

Rangan's session will be all about data. For a majority percentage of projects, data is always the poorer cousin as opposed to functionality. Throughout the session, Rangan will focus on data accuracy, consistency, governance far too little, and too late. The classic methodology of 'loading everything in' doesn't work any more. You will learn how to develop scalable, sustainable systems and a framework for good data quality health. Rangan's session will take you on a journey of where data originates on an enterprise system, how to make sure it's loaded correctly, maintaining its quality over time TO handling large volumes of it efficiently and also the tools that Salesforce Architects have at their disposal. Every organisation is precious about their data, so driving the overall governance and stewardship is extremely crucial. We will be discussing the average project challenges with it.
