"Falling" in Love with Cool Stuff

Oct 28, 2022, 3:30 – 6:00 PM

Join us EITHER in-person or via Zoom to learn about using Flow to post Chatter notifications, Titan, Flow Showcase, and some Winter '23 winners!

About this event

We'll again offer a hybrid meeting to accommodate everyone! Because we will be managing dual logistics and head counts that are tied to budgets, please decide how you'd like to attend and do your best to honor that choice.

You can choose:

In-person: We have limited seating and budget, so please only RSVP for in-person if you know you can attend. Please do not cancel, unless you are experiencing or have been exposed to any illness.  Cancellations less than 48-hours can impact our lunch budget (and maybe my personal finances). And, they are difficult to backfill last minute. No shows are frowned upon.

😷  Masks are encouraged, but no longer required.
🪑  There will be plenty of space for seating and to move around for proper social distancing.
🍽   Boxed lunch will be provided!

Virtual: If you are not ready for in-person meetings, are too far geographically to attend, or have been exposed/contracted COVID or any kind of crud, virtual is for you.

🙋‍♀️ Welcome, Introductions, and Announcements

💻 Titan: Forms - Documents - Sign - Portal + so much more!
Titan is a Salesforce ISV Partner with over 300 five-star reviews, and has been on the AppExchange since 2017. Our solutions include a suite of zero-coding apps with patented bi-directional integration with Salesforce standard and custom objects. If clients are asking about or have initiatives around Portals, Forms, Docs & Sign, Surveys and more, Titan does everything Conga, Docusign, FormStack or FormAssembly, Survey Monkey, Experience Cloud and SF Connect combined can do, but faster, much less expensively, and with a common UI/UX, which dramatically shortens the learning curve and GTM times.

💡Chatter Notifications via Flow
Pradeep Jonnalagadda, founder and architect at Lattice Squad, will demo how record triggered flows, Invocable Apex, and "Post to Chatter" core action come together to send real-time Chatter notifications. As a bonus add-on, we will review a powerful winter-23 feature of Salesforce Flows.

⚙️ Flow Showcase
There is always good stuff shared and discussed during our showcase!

Round Robin – Assign Any Object Using Flow
Learn how two Charlotte Admins used the “Round Robin Assignment Using Flow” process created by Brie Jonna and featured on Automation Hour. Hear from Jen Lange and Manny Travieso about their use-case modifications, tips and tricks to avoid records erroring, and how to use APIs in the process.

Got a Flow you've built -- regardless of complexity -- you can share? Sign up to present your solution. It can be a 2-minute or 20-minute presentation. We simply want to learn from each other.

☃️ Winter 23 Winners
We'll touch on a few of the new and more intriguing features of Winter '23 just to give you a taste of what to explore.

We are meeting at the Exchange Building used by Salesforce and other business park tenants. (We are NOT meeting in the main Salesforce building.) Be sure to Google the address so you know what you are looking for. There is no Salesforce signage on this building. We will be the only group in the building. Look for our Salesforce popup banner. Parking is provided at no charge.
