About this event
Save the date for the next Bristol Salesforce Admin User Group! We'll be back at the Kings Street Brew House on THURSDAY the 30th of October with sessions, networking, and food.
We have an OG contributor to the Bristol Salesforce community Peter Chittum to give us a refresh (or first run through!?) of the Salesforce CLI and the usual smattering of content, swag and games.

Peter Chittum - Terminal Velocity - Accelerate your work with command line tools
The simplest inventions are often the most long lasting. Using a command line to "talk" to your computer has remained a staple of IT work for over sixty years. But this isn't your grandpa's command line. Modern command line tools are more intuitive, fast, and have features to help any user – whether coder or not – be productive with their computer. In this talk we'll talk through some basics, explore more expressive commands, and finish off with some exploration of the Salesforce CLI.

Claire WIngate - Upsert without Upset .... top tips on how to use the updated 'Create Record' Flow functionality
Winter '25 Salesforce Release updated the functionality of the 'Create Records' element. It is now possible to create or create and update records with the further option of either processing successful records or rolling the transaction and creating and updating no records if the flow fails.
I have taken time to investigate this functionality and have found many benefits but also some significant considerations to take into account when using this functionality.
I would love to share my knowledge with other Admins by demonstrating some relatable Use Cases and talking through some top tips/learning that I believe will be very beneficial when looking at the option to process successful records if the flow fails.
