Lisa Firnberg will share a solution she’s developed to help her organization better report on new families served in a date range. Staff may work with families multiple distinct times over the course of a year, and each time they open a new case. The organization found it needed a way to better identify if a case within a particular date range was the family’s FIRST case or not. They also have the complication of needing to exclude referrals to the organization that don’t ultimately engage in services.
