• What we'll do
We have a "double header" of topics for this month's meet-up.
First off, we will hear from Adam Marks, Salesforce MVP and Director of Salesforce Services at RTS Labs, as he goes over an introduction to the Salesforce's Lightning UI. He will cover the basics of what it looks like, how it behaves compared to the "Classic UI" and how to personally configure it. He will also share tips from his extensive experience in implementing this new Salesforce UI on numerous projects.
Second, we will hear from Chris Cavallaro, partner with CCG and Salesforce Consultant, as he shares about Salesforce's "Platform Cache". Chris will go over how this relatively new feature of Salesforce can help provide faster performance and better reliability for your applications by caching Salesforce session and org data.
There will be QnA afterwards and general discussion for those interested.
Again, a big thanks to Permjit Ghotra and the folks at CarMax for hosting this month's meet-up. They have generously offered to supply pizza and drinks for this event, so bring your appetite!
Tentative agenda is:
• 5:30 - 6:00 - Meet and greet and pizza!
• 6:00 - 6:30 - "Introduction the Lightning UI" by Adam Marks, RTSLabs
• 6:30 - 7:00 - "Overview of Salesforce Platform Cache Feature" by Chris Cavallaro, CCG
• 7:00 - 7:30 - QnA ...if needed.
• What to bring
