Everyone bookmark your calendars for the next Richmond, VA Salesforce User Group meet-up. This month is extra special because we have a very special guest speaker joining us. Our guest speaker is non other than Doug Ayers (https://twitter.com/DouglasCAyers) from Nashville, TN.
Doug is a former Salesforce MVP and now is the Technical Curriculum Developer for Trailhead @ Salesforce.com. He has been a leader in the Salesforce Community for several years. He blogs about about his experiences, tips, and awesome tricks for developers and admins alike at douglascayers.com.
Doug is avid Apex developer and famous for many open source projects that have made the lives of admins and developers so much easier through out the Salesforce Community. Some of Doug's projects include the "Mass Action Schedule" and app that "Converts Attachments to Salesforce Files." Doug will be joining us remotely to discuss his latest work.
Though this may sound very "developer-oriented," there is a lot to take away as an admin. With all of the excitement around SalesforceDX and Unlocked Packaging, new strategies have been emerging around how to organize your codebase to be packaged. Adopting DX and Unlocked Packaging can be extra difficult to manage in the area of Flows and Process Builders. Doug's latest project builds on the recently released "Force-DI" Dependency Injection Framework. Doug has combined the best of the "Clicks, Not Code" approach in Salesforce and the power of dependency injection to create a very powerful option for admins and declarative developers to take advantage of and help them better organize their Flows and Process Builders.
Join us Monday, August 27th for a look at this brand new approach to writing Flows and Process Builders. This is definitely a rare opportunity that you will not want to miss.
There will be QnA afterwards and general discussion for those interested.
