Join all the local user groups at Mez on January 22 from 5:30 pm - 7 pm. Get ready to mingle with old friends and meet new ones at this year's annual holiday party. We'll provide the food. You buy your drinks. Plan on enjoying a great evening while helping to support the Interfaith Food Shuttle's BackPack Buddies Program. BackPack Buddies provides children from low-income households with 10-12 pounds of nutritious kid friendly groceries for the weekend when free school lunches and breakfasts are not available. Suggestions for food drive items include: healthy snacks (granola bars, fruit pouches), packaged noodles (macaroni & cheese), canned goods (soups, tuna, beans, meat & pasta, veggies & fruits without the syrup), breakfast items (whole grain cereal, oatmeal, grits) and 100% juice boxes.
